We are officially a few days away from the Richardson ISD Chamber Music Festival on Saturday, February 5. We are excited that this event is back to being an in-person performance alongside hired piano accompanists. Piano rehearsals are occurring this week before school, during band classes, and after school.
Fees- Thank you for keeping up with your piano rehearsals. Please remember that everyone using a school accompanist owes $50 for that person’s service. The fee for every solo entry is $5 also paid to LHABC via a director; this can be made as one $55 payment or as two separate payments. Please begin turning this into a band director tomorrow, Friday, January 28. This can be cash or a check made out to LHABC. This MUST be paid by Friday, February 4.
Attached to this email is a list of all performance times for Saturday, February 5th. Students are responsible for being there 30 minutes before their performance time and making it to their performance room on time. Performance rooms are open to family, friends, and anyone else who would like to be an audience member.
This performance is major performance grade for each student’s nine weeks grade. To receive credit for this performance, students must be dressed correctly, arrive on time, and perform their solo. Students who do not meet the following expectations may be ineligible to credit for their performance.

Lastly- we will need everyone in the program to volunteer part of the day to help us host the event. Mr. Martinez will be talking everyone through what is involved during your band class on Friday, at which time a sign-up for shifts will become available.
