All-Area Audition Updates

All students who are auditioning for the TMEA All-Region process will receive login information to access Music First, a web-based recording program.

The window for students to record the Region cuts is 12:01am on Saturday, 1/9 until 11:59pm on Wednesday, 1/13. You can record any combination of etudes in a sitting and revisit recordings after finishing them.

The biggest challenge in this process is if a student attempts to re-record an Etude, the previous recording will automatically be deleted! You may not record multiple takes of the same Etude and go through them to find the best one. Your LAST take will always be the recording stored. You can attempt recording as few or as many times as you want, but all recordings must be in BEFORE 11:59pm on Wednesday.

iOS App Instructions

If using an iOS device, the MusicFirst Student app must be used because of limits on browser access to the microphone.

2020 San Francisco Trip UPDATE 2

If you were signed up for the 2020 San Francisco Band trip, you should have received an email form TMF regarding refunds and merchandise credit.

If you do not believe you have received communication from TMF, please check the email address you used to register for the trip over the next 2 weeks for communication from TMF. This is the first step needed to ensure you get your refund in a timely manner. Refunds will be issued via check to the updated address you provide TMF.
