In order to maintain proper social distancing and safety measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to alter our instrument and uniform turn in procedures.
IMPORTANT: If you are a senior, moving, not returning to LHHS, or NOT continuing in the same fine arts organization next year, you MUST turn in all LHHS Fine Arts property. If you are continuing in the same Fine Arts organization next year, please keep your school-owned equipment safe with you over the summer.
Instructions for Returning Items next week:

To return your things, please drive to the west side of Lake Highlands to the Band lot (between the L-building and Wildcat Ram stadium). Students will be let in to place equipment in the correct turn in location for each Fine Arts organization. See below for turn in details.
Students who are leaving the program and do not turn in school issued equipment will be placed on the hold list until equipment is returned. If you have any other questions, please email your teacher.
Band/Orchestra – May 18-21 from 11:00am – 2:00pm. Enter the building by the band hall ramp. Make sure to leave your instrument and uniform in the designated place (look for signs). All cases must be left OPEN on the floor. Please put uniforms in corresponding piles.

Face coverings must be worn and only a few students will be allowed to enter the building for no more than 5 minutes.

This will also be your only chance to get into your band locker until August if needed!

This year’s Band Banquet will be streamed online on Wednesday, May 20th at 7pm.We will follow a similar schedule as we normally would in person including Student Awards, End of Year celebrations and Senior Recognition.

Everyone is invited – it’s free!

Wednesday, May 20th from Noon-4pmSenior Moms and Directors will be in the Band Parking Lot to give out senior gifts before the Band Banquet airs that night.
