Rehearsals begin at 6:45 am each morning! We have had many students dropped off right at 6:45 am. If a student needs help finding a ride, they are encouraged to check with their section leaders first.

ALL students must have their water bottle at every rehearsal. This is a matter of safety for all involved! Any student who doesn’t have water will be sent off of the field to take care of it before they are allowed to join our rehearsal.

Pep Rally:

8:45 am – Call time in Band Hall wearing Red Adidas Shirt. Feel free to wear whatever shorts/jeans/shoes you want for the Pep Rally

9:00 am – Pep Rally Begins!

9:50 am – All students dismissed to 1st period

After school:

4:30 pm – Rehearsal in the Stadium w/JH students

5:30 pm  – Dinner served in Student Center (provided by LHABC)

6:15 pm – Call Time in the Band Hall!

6:30 pm – Band marches over to Wildcat-Ram Stadium

Red Adidas Shirt/Black Shorts/Ankle Socks/Black marching shoes

7:30 pm Kickoff vs. Haltom

8:45 pm Halftime (Approx.) – Peform with Junior High students!

10:00 pm Game over

9/10 – LHHS Meet the Teacher Night 6 pm

9/13 – Pep Rally @ 9 am

9/13 – Football vs. Haltom – JH Night!

9/18 – Early Release

9/18 – All-Region Jazz @ North Mesquite HS

9/20 – NO GAME!

9/21 – Plano Drumline Contest

9/23 – Marching Uniform checks during class

9/24 – San Francisco Trip Payment #3 DUE

9/27 – 6 week UIL Eligibility check: students failing a class on this day will become ineligible for the remainder of the competitive Marching Band season

10/5 – Wylie Marching Competition – Prelims performance @ 3:45 pm
