Dallas Symphony Orchestra Student Rush Tickets

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra provides opportunities for students to purchase discounted tickets to select concerts throughout their season.  I wanted to send this out because one of those concerts is happening this Thursday night and Sunday afternoon – student tickets are only $10!

This weekend, you will catch our very own Trumpet lesson teacher Mr. Stammer on stage playing with the symphony! The 2nd half of the program is Richard Strauss’ Alpine Symphony which utilizes even larger wind and percussion sections than typical orchestral works.

Rehearsals begin at 6:45 am each morning! We have had many students dropped off right at 6:45 am. If a student needs help finding a ride, they are encouraged to check with their section leaders first.

ALL students must have their water bottle at every rehearsal. This is a matter of safety for all involved! Any student who doesn’t have water will be sent off of the field to take care of it before they are allowed to join our rehearsal.

Materials Check was in class last week – check Objective Sheet/Syllabus for materials required! We still have many students who haven’t finished taking care of this. They will not be allowed to attend Friday’s game if the hasn’t been done!
