Band registration is THIS Saturday, Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Band Hall, and we hope ALL of you can make it!

Please arrive at your allotted time slot (see table below). It usually takes about an hour to get in and out and arriving prepared will be super helpful.

Noon to 1 p.m. L through P
1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Q through Z

BRING THE FOLLOWING TO REGISTRATION:

  1. Printed AND completed forms (attached in this email or at LHABC.org)
  2. Payment (cash, check, or credit card) for band fees, instrument fees, spirit wear, etc.
  3. TWO COPIES (front AND back) of your insurance card
  4. A minimum of TWO CASES of bottled water

HELPFUL REGISTRATION INFO:

    • Have your completed forms, payment, and your TWO insurance copies with you when you arrive!
    • RETURNING STUDENTS: do you need new white gloves? Make sure to tell our uniform moms Saturday!
    • Use this link to do your volunteer background check NOW so you don’t have to do it on Saturday: https://risd.voly.org/
    • Look for volunteers wearing badges- we are here to help and are happy to answer your questions!
    • Contact Mr. Chavis if you are unable to attend registration, and plan to attend makeup registration on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (prior to the parent preview!)

THINGS YOU’LL DO AT REGISTRATION:

    • Drop off your TWO cases of water donation (to keep our kids HYDRATED!)
    • Make sure your family’s Charms info is updated
    • Drop off completed forms in appropriate baskets
    • Pick up and fill out appropriate band fee sheet & get extended payment plan set up, if needed
    • Set up private lessons
    • Sign up to volunteer!
    • Pick up and/or order uniform gear (NEW BAND STUDENTS get certain items with their New Band Member fee, RETURNING BAND STUDENTS must pay to replenish certain items)
    • Purchase fun buttons and/or photo magnets with your band student’s photo on them!
    • Purchase our AWESOME Spirit Wear!
    • Stop by the tables for McKay Music, Lone Star Yard Art, etc.

NEW BAND STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE:

  • Black band logo undershirt and under shorts (required under marching uniform)
  • Summer Uniform (red logo shirt and black shorts)
  • Marching shoes
  • Gloves (2 pairs)
  • Monogrammed band accessory bag
  • Band logo red water jug

We are SO excited about the year ahead- our directors and kids have already put in so much time learning this year’s marching show and preparing for concert season. See you at Saturday’s registration!
