Thank you all for your understanding last Friday as we (AGAIN) dealt with frustrating weather. There’s plenty of chances to get wet again this week as we look ahead on the forecast. So far this season we’ve had highly unpredictable weather – clear radar means rain, rainy radar means rain…we will just always plan for rain and be pleasantly surprised if it doesn’t! Please make sure you are prepared for rain during morning rehearsals – if it’s lightly raining with no heavy wind or lightning, we WILL practice!

ALL rehearsals this week will happen as scheduled regardless of weather unless you hear differently from us (via Remind/Charms). With all of the alternate plans being made, please make sure you have joined the Remind to stay connected: Text @lhband1819 to the number 81010. You can also check the LHABC website and Facebook groups regularly.

Honors Band essays are DUE TOMORROW!

The 9 weeks grading period ends FRIDAY! That means you must be passing ALL classes by Friday at 4pm. Anyone who is ineligible on Friday afternoon will miss the rest of our marching competition season AND football season.

UIL is this Wednesday! We perform at 6pm at Mesquite Memorial Stadium. Click here for the itinerary for Wednesday’s UIL contest once more for your reference.

If UIL is completely rained out, the alternate date is next Monday, October 22nd! PLEASE make sure that date is clear in case weather keeps us from performing on Wednesday.

Have a great week!
