First of all, I would like to say a BIG thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers that were up at the band hall this week working hard to get your students fitted for their uniforms, providing spirit wear,  photos taken, getting them snacks during practice, and helping to get your families registered (and any other things too)!  What an amazing group of people! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Second, your students made it through their first week of Summer Band like champs!  I got the opportunity to hear them practicing this week while up at the band hall and it is going to be a wonderful year!  They already sound good just one week in!

Here is what you need to know for this week coming up!

1.     REGISTRATION MAKEUP TIME is Monday, August 7th (tomorrow) from 3:30-5 in the conference room in the band hall. If you were not able to be there on Saturday, you need to make every effort to come Monday with your forms printed and filled out, 2 copies of the front/back of your student’s insurance card, and a form of payment for your band fees.  Summer uniforms, under uniforms, etc. have to be ordered this week in order to have your child ready for the first game. If you absolutely cannot make it on Monday, please contact your directors to let them know and to schedule another time to get registered.

2.    SNAP RAISE set up is scheduled for Tuesday, August 8th. Your students need to come prepared with 20 emails of their top fans (parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, youth leaders, family friends, neighbors, etc.).  This is a very easy fundraiser and was very successful last year! It should be even better this year with our band growth.  All band kids need to come prepared with their smart phones and emails to make this a success!  If you don’t have 20 emails, come with as many as you can! Remember that monies raised go towards helping keep our band fees lower and all the things necessary to run our band and provide for their needs.
