Good evening LH Band families!
Thank you so much for your support yesterday at Band Registration – we had a great turnout!  THANK YOU to all of our band parents and students that volunteered to ensure everything ran smooth!  Remember that Monday, Aug 7 from 3:30-4:30pm is Registration makeup in the Band Hall.  If you are unable to print forms, we will have copies in the Band Hall but DON’T FORGET your insurance card!

Summer Band Schedule:

• Monday-Wednesday:  7-11am and 12:30-4pm
• Thursday: 4-8pm
• Friday there is NO REHEARSAL,
• Saturday: we WILL have rehearsal 7-9am!

Schedule pick-up for 10th and 11th graders: please report to schedule pick-up at the very beginning of your time block!  We’ve put those on the Band calendar for you as well (www.lhabc.org)
Freshmen – your schedule pick-up does NOT conflict with Summer Band.

THURSDAY – Leadership and Drumline will be performing for the beginning of Teacher Inservice.  Please wear your black LH Band shirt and shorts.  Plan to arrive at 7:15am. You’ll be done by 8:30am and breakfast will be provided.

We will still have Region masterclasses Monday-Wednesday this week, so you will need to keep bringing your concert instrument each day.

FLUTES ONLY:  Just a reminder that your masterclasses this week will be from 10:30-12:30 and you will be on break from 12:30-2:30. You will be excused from marching band early so you will have plenty of time to get cooled off and ready for the masterclass. You will also be taught by a special guest artist that you will enjoy!
