Hello Band Wildcats,

We have another busy week planned for the Wildcat Band Community, with two upcoming band competitions and preparations for the 2016 LHHS Homecoming on Friday, October 21.  To date, the Mum Moms and Dads have sold over 200 mums so far!

Wildcats vs. Richardson at Richardson Stadium located at 1250 W. Beltline Road, Richardson, Texas 75080.

Our Meal and Chaperone Moms need parents to help serve meals, ride buses, and during the half-time show.  There is no signup Genius for meals this week.  LeaAnne Pillers needs about four to five parents to help with meals.  Please be at the band hall by 4:45 pm.

Leigh Tidwell is traveling.  Tiffany Sunday will be the Lead Chaperone Mom for the Richardson’s game.

Performance Time 11:30 am.

Call Time for Band students at LH Stadium is 6:45 am.  The band will rehearse and leave at 8:30 am.

Band Duffle Bag Checklist:

• Black socks, black band gym shorts, and shirt to wear under uniform
• Band shirt and shorts to wear while at the stadium for dinner
• Lunch money – students will eat at Collin Creek Mall. Boosters will provide dinner.

Parents – Join us at 8:30 am at the band hall to wish the band and color guard Good Luck at Wylie!

If you plan to join us, please arrive by 10:30 am and wear a spirit shirt or show shirt. When you arrive at the stadium look for the Wildcat band family, we’ll have our spirit flags! Help us support the band and color guard during their performance!

The students love to hear shouts of encouragement from the stands!  The admission fee for the event is $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under.

After the performing, students watch the video of their performance and then travel to Firewheel for independent lunch.

The band will return to the stadium by 3:00 pm to watch the remaining performances. Finals begin at 7:15 pm with an awards ceremony at 10:15 pm.

We should arrive back at the band hall around 11:00 pm. Please be early to pick up your student. Should our travel plans change, we will provide an update on Facebook.

UIL Wednesday, October 19

Mesquite Memorial Stadium
2411 Scyene Rd. Mesquite
Performance Time is 7:30 pm.

The band will depart from LH at 5:00 pm and perform at 7:30 pm. The students should arrive back at LH by 8:30 pm.  Parents – if possible please attend the UIL performance and help support the Wildcat Band!

Gate admission is $5 for adults, no charge for children 6 years of age and younger.

Homecoming Mums!

Next week is Homecoming! We need help decorating Mums and Armbands.  Even if you have a few minutes to stop by and help, the Moms would appreciate the assistance.
