Reminder For UIL and Grade Requirements

UIL marching contest is about 4 ½ weeks away.  UIL No Pass / No Play rule requires all students to have a passing grade.  For freshman parents, this is a good time to remind your band kids to turn in homework and if needed attend tutoring to ensure a passing grade.  For students in PRE-AP, grade requirements are lower.

Calling All Parent Volunteers!

A great way to meet fellow band parents is to volunteer at the various events during the year.

At each football game, we need parents to help cook, serve meals, and chaperone the students. Parents volunteers receive a free pass to the game.

To clarify – if you have a badge from one of the LHABC Chairs then you have free access to the game.
